Third-party tools

The use of third-party tools such as Mobalytics, Blitz, and Porofessor are permitted. However, this does not include any scripts, hacks, or tools that violate Riot Games' Terms of Service.

Additionally, any champion that has not been available on the live servers for at least one week will be automatically restricted from play.

Side Selection

Game 1:

  • Side is decided by a coin toss. ( coin toss can be done in the Seraphim discord )

  • The winner of the toss chooses Blue or Red side for game 1

Game 2 and 3:

  • The team that lost the previous game chooses the side.

Gender Policy

This tournament is female-only.

  • Transgender women (male-to-female) are permitted to compete.

  • Proof of gender identity is required upon registration. Acceptable proof includes:

    • A government-issued ID showing a female gender, or

    • A combination of documentation showing current or completed transition (e.g., hormone therapy letter, legal name/gender change documents, or other relevant documentation, reviewed privately by admins).

  • All documentation will be handled with strict confidentiality.

Once you are registered, you will be contacted directly on Discord for an identity verification check. This will involve being asked to turn on your camera and present your valid documentation.

  • Verification is a one-time process. Once verified, you will not need to undergo further checks.

Roster Policy

Teams must submit their full roster—including 5 starting players (with designated lanes) and any substitutes—along with an OP.GG link for each player in the Seraphim Discord channel: #💡rosters

Players and substitutes are locked in once a leg begins. (A “leg” refers to a distinct tournament phase, such as a group stage, playoffs, or matchday series.)

If a player disconnects mid-game and cannot reconnect, the team must either:

  • Continue playing the game 4v5, or

  • Forfeit that game (not the entire match).

A registered substitute may be brought in for the next game if needed.

All substitutes must already be listed on the team’s registered roster.

Before the official match begins, if a team plans to use a substitute, they must inform the opposing team ahead of time and specify which role the substitute will be filling

Punctuality

  • Teams have 15 minutes after the scheduled start time to present a full roster of 5 players.

  • For every additional 15-minute delay, 1 game will be forfeited.

  • The entire series will be forfeited if delays continue beyond a reasonable limit

Reschedules

  • Must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.

  • If no agreement is reached between teams, the default match time is Sunday at 8 PM.

Note: For the sake of fair competition, we encourage teams to continue the match if the opposing team is delayed and they are comfortable proceeding.

Evidence Requirements:
No evidence of delays is needed unless extreme circumstances arise (e.g., repeated issues or suspicious behaviour). In cases involving serious allegations—such as cheating, harassment, or identity fraud—teams are required to cooperate fully and provide any requested evidence.

  • Display humility in victory and grace in defeat.

Communication & Server Rules

  • All matches must be played while connected to the official Seraphim Discord Server.

  • All five active players per team must remain connected to the Seraphim Discord during the match.

  • Voice presence in official channels is mandatory for participation verification and match integrity.

  • Admins or referees may join match voice channels muted and unseen to monitor at any time. Teams must not deafen/mute themselves in a way that prevents verification during spot checks.

  • Players must be prepared for occasional live spot checks to ensure:

    • All players are present and playing,

    • No external coaching (Coaches must leave after drafting is complete)

    • Compliance with gender policy.

Failure to cooperate may result in match forfeits or disqualification.

Player Identification

  • All players must provide identification to participate.

  • ID will be requested at registration and handled confidentially.

  • Acceptable forms of ID include government-issued ID, student ID, or any official document verifying identity and gender.

  • In cases where transition documentation is needed, arrangements can be made privately with the tournament admins.

Emote and All Chat Policy

  • Emotes and All Chat are permitted during matches.

  • Players are reminded that both emotes and all chat can be muted via in-game settings if they find them disruptive.

  • However, abuse of these tools is prohibited. This includes:

    • Using all chat for harassment, hate speech, or unsportsmanlike behavior.

Violations will result in penalties up to and including game forfeits or tournament bans.

Official Streams

Anyone is welcome to stream the matches. Once an official match has been scheduled and posted in Discord, streamers interested in broadcasting it must react to that message. This allows admins and teams to easily see who plans to stream the match.

Personal Streams

Players may stream their own games, provided there is a minimum 3-minute delay on the stream to maintain competitive integrity.

Pausing

Each team is allowed up to 15 minutes of pause time per game in a series.

If a player experiences bad ping/fps drops/ disconnects the game may be paused. This pause time will count towards the teams total 15 minutes.

Once the full 15 minutes have elapsed, the game must continue.
Failure to resume play after the allowed time will result in an automatic forfeit of the game.

Breaks

Teams are allowed a maximum break of 15 minutes between games. Any excessive delays may result in penalties.

Prizes & Payouts

This tournament does not feature a prize pool at this time. As a pilot event, its main purpose is to test the structure and ensure smooth operations. If everything runs successfully, we plan to introduce cash prizes or other rewards in future tournaments!
